bulletB.Thystrup US Corp./ ADVENTUREGLASS is a branch of a Danish Recreational Company founded in the Early 1950ies. Owned By 3rd and 4th generation in the Recreational Business.

 

bulletIn 1987 the US branch B.Thystrup US Corp. was founded. Apart from the manufacturing of paddleboats the US Corporation has been operating an  amusement park ADVENTURELAND AMUSEMENT PARK. In 2001 it was decided to close the Amusement Park in order to concentrate on the Paddleboat manufacturing business.

 

bulletB.Thystrup US Corp is also operating Indiana's oldest Stern wheel Riverboat       THE DIXIE on Lake Webster in Northern Indiana

 

bulletIn 1993 it was decided to build and develop the current paddleboats in north Webster IN. One important reason being to draw on the large pool if people in the boat business in the area. Northern Indiana has a large concentration recreational boat manufacturers.

 

bulletThe paddleboats have been extensively tested since 1993, As rental boats bumper boats and in ponds.

 

bulletAfter being introduced in the Catalog of Hammacher Schlemmer it was the number 1 seller for the first week, the paddleboats are still doing very well in their catalog.
