IMPORTANT FACTS

· Capacity is 20 people

· The all new Riverboat/ excursion boat has a hull made of durable Fiberglass.

· The flat bottomed hull and wide size makes the Mini Dixie very stable and little prone to list even with an uneven load.

· The top is made of aluminum pipe covered with a canvas top.

· The fiberglass seats and space between the hull and deck are foam filled for floatation safety.

· There is a compartment for lifejackets.

· The flat bottom makes for a very low draft, so the boat can navigate in very shallow water.

 

 

 

Motor & Drive System

· The Paddlewheel is actually propelling the paddle wheeler.

· The Paddlewheel is chain driven from an 3 horse power electric DC motor with a continuous speed control in forward and reverse.

· The electric motor is powered by a reliable Honda powered 11 hp/ 5000watt electric start generator. This gives extra power to lighting and PA system.

· The Riverboat can be equipped with a bow thruster if it needs to navigate in tight quarters.
